Prison Legal News – The Magazine

Prison Legal News (PLN), a project of the Human Rights Defense Center, publishes a 56-page monthly magazine that reports on corrections and criminal justice-related news and legal issues nationwide. PLN has published continuously since 1990 and is the nation’s longest-running magazine that focuses on prison-related topics.

PLN also offers a website subscription that includes access to thousands of news articles, back issues of PLN, criminal justice reports and publications, and a brief bank that contains pleadings, verdicts and settlements in prison and jail-related cases.
